Do you live in one of the most favorable places to call home in Georgia?
Many variables factor into what makes a city more livable than another, from the variety of dining establishments, cafes and shops or the cost of living, housing affordability and job opportunities to the proximity of high-quality medical facilities, number of schools and the average crime rate. While the Peach State has plenty of exciting cities and small towns to settle down in, one destination stands out as a place to "have a prosperous life."
According to a list compiled by GOBankingRates, the "most livable city" in all of Georgia is Avondale Estates, an area outside of Atlanta with a median household income of $136,250 and a total monthly cost of living of $5,773.
Here's what GOBankingRates had to say about determining the most livable city in every state:
"For this study, GOBankingRates found the most livable city in each state and how much it costs to live there. To do this, GOBankingRates found the livability index for each city recording the city with the highest livability index.
